I am over-the-moon to announce that Tony Allegretti has joined our team on a full time basis. Our friends and neighbors in Jacksonville will know Tony best for his role as a consultant to Mayor Peyton and to Downtown Vision, establishing such high-profile projects as Downtown Art Walk and the Riverside Arts Market (RAM) which has grown to be one of the most significant arts markets in the country and given me somewhere awesome to take my daughter every Saturday morning….. Tony is also the only person to call the mayoral election for Alvin Brown over a year ago. Impressive.

Tony most recently worked as the Communications Director for the Gallery Restaurant Group, as well as for our good friends over at Wingard Creative. His experience developing and implementing strategic communications campaigns is significant and he brings with him a deep understanding of the effective use of social media – something that is almost unique in a niche dominated by snake-oil salesmen. He’ll be reordering our current web-communications offer. Big news soon. Watch this space.

Of course Tony is also going to take the lead in developing our business in North Florida. In return, he gets to work on big issues for some of our biggest national clients. He’s been in the seat a couple of weeks now, and tells me that last week he was required to call the Wall Street Journal no fewer than a dozen times. That’s what I like to hear…….
